Therefore I deemed it unoriginal and terrible lol. It had SO much potential to create a new storyline and yet it was ruined with the same old crap. Sucks the producers and director are unoriginal as hell

 

Pretty much the same for the last two decades with nothing but remakes (most suck) of old films and no new storylines. Love SCIFI and last two movies that were worth a crap were Bladerunner II and Intersteallar (I thrived on Asimov and other writers when I was still in elementary school (in the 1960's - LOL)). No original thought left in Pedowood, just crank out the CGI stuff and make sure all the Marvel comic stuff is politically correct. I go to the movies because it is an excuse to hit Bar Louie's for beer and somewhat decent food. Rather go to a Huntsville Havoc's hockey game any time.

Anyone interested in going to the Havoc game on 27 Dec?????

I disagree with this.... they do remakes of classics because they’re scared that people will outcry if they mess up the originals. They’re money makers, nothing more nothing less. Hollywood has put out a few original things though, the conjuring series, 42, American sniper, a cure for wellness, hacksaw ridge, etc. You just can’t look in the continuations of classics anymore for original ideas, they’re sequels. Lucasfilms stoped making them for a reason. I’ll give them it’s cooler having newer cgi in the movies though, it’d be ignorant to deny that. Just don’t look for classics in sequels

Guntersville is only ~30 minutes from SE Huntsville. Not sure what I’ll have going on, but I’ll see when I get back home. May try to get my sister’s truck over to the house and install a lift on it.

I’m not a duck hunter, so not sure if it is a morning only type thing.

 

Hate to break it to you, but hollywood could give a shit about people's opinion. All they care about is making money - any way, any how.

 

Didn’t claim they did, but if people stop liking them they stop coming to see them. If they liked the originals they’re probably gonna like the remakes
