Just got my caster pushed to 3.5 ... big wheeling trip this weekend so we'll see. Soon I want to get 285/70/17 ridge grapplers.

Still rubbing!! While half turned over bumpy terrain. I only have 275/70's!
Well trimmed, smashed pinch weld, CMC, and caster at 3.5. What now??

So it pokes about 1.5"-2" over stock?

Running it through the calculator shows; 1.5" poke on the tire and 2" on the wheel.
When you lift, you might loose a little of that...
As importantly, it changes SAI and how the tire moves about it's arc when turning.
When you turn the wheel at stop, does one side lift and the other dive, more so than stock?
This will affect the caster reading when they use the machine because it's programmed with stock SAI/geometry.
You might not have 3.5 caster...try more caster. It's about the only thing you can do.

The alignment shop said they pushed the caster far forward as it would with 0 camber. Maybe it is rubbing on the upper parts of the fender liner now; it does stick out. I can't believe people are running 35's on these trucks.

315's here. Only rub I have is when the front is full stuff and it hits the top of the inner fender.

Running 35/12.5/18 on -12 18x9 here. Just started trimming today. CMC plates on order. I used a Dremel with a grinding wheel so that I could take off small increments. Took the flare lip back with a sharp razor knife and some patience. I’ll see if I can snap better pic tomorrow.

I feel like I may be rubbing on the top now. I'm going to mount a gopro to confirm.

Hey guy dont intent to thread jack, but i have a Xrunner and still related to Trimming. My xrunner is dropped 2", and thinking of running 285/35/20. But I heard there is rubbing issues. Just lock to lock turning. It is the FRONT fender but towards the bed/rear of the FRONT FENDER(square part that sticks out)

So here's my solution to find what's rubbing. I hope the UCA doesn't go up that far, lol.
I suspect I'm rubbing on the upper parts of the fender liner "ridge".
Now I need to wait until I go wheeling again to record my movie:popcorn:

Hmmmm I’d be worried about the tire being stuffed and killing that GoPro.
Can you move it towards the engine bay and have it more centered above the coil over?

Can't tell in the photo, but it is behind the tire. It could be hit by the UCA though.
