Mlcc DCLB build

This is my wifes truck, and it will be a all around donkey. Let me start off with how it came to be, my wife started off with a chevy celebrity when I met her which quickly turned into a 2011 corolla which then turned into a acura TL then turned into a 2013 pruis which then turned into a 2016 rav4 and she never wanted a truck even though she used them all as trucks even the prius that probably has more offroad miles then some bro dozers at walmart. But now she has a truck with a decent sized bed. So in this thread you will see the transformation of a yet another tacoma.

• Rear: deaver 2in add a leaf with 5100 bilistien shocks

• 2.5in lift with rake(done)

• She'll need plate bumpers for sure

The Cooper ST MAXX

 

It is now lifted with bilsteins adjusted to 2in in the front and a deaver 2in add a leaf in the rear.

 

Im going to bump up the shocks to the highest setting, it has settled over the last couple of days and I think its still to low in the front compared to the rear it has more rake then I was looking for, bit the mud flaps doesnt rub the ground anymore.

Looks good, how's your alignment after the bilsteins?

 

I was still able to get it to factory specs with only putting it at the 2in mark, im still wanting to go the extra .5in so we'll see how well it aligns the second time around.

 

Adjusted the front to the full 2.5in and am very happy with it now.

The cat is jax he was the barn cat, about a month ago we think he got ate by a bobcat so hes no longer around.

Ya theres no shortage on predators around here so far 2 mountain lions have been killed near my property and the coyotes come amd go then theres the bobcats amd the wretched racoons.

 

Sooo...... I sold the tacoma no more build thread. But there may be a build for an old 4runner in the future so stay tuned.
