My daily get to work vehicle is a commuter bicycle. So if my truck’s down for a while it’s whatever. Definitely makes it easier to experiment with set ups.

yup same here. A quick blast of methanol injection (I can manually spray some on my AEM unit) and it evens out. I’m glad I’m not the only one with that phenomenon... sounds normal then

I just don’t worry about it.

I also put my 8.5 psi spring back in yesterday. Definitely faster and seems to spool quicker too. AFR’s still dip down to 10 tho

Nice. Is your meth set up a kit or a custom set up you pieced together?

Well I have like 5 gallons of window washer fluid at all times cuz I’m majorly OCD... but I don’t go through all that much. Maybe a gallon of 30% methanol mix a week

I was going to build an extra in-line reservoir myself too. I bought a bunch of female 1/4” push fittings and a 1/8” NPT tap kit to use with the methanol kit’s tubing. A 3 gallon capacity would be perfect

    A thing or two...
My truck runs lean at start up occasionally too. It seems to be when I haven't driven it in a while. Once I start driving, the AFRs are fine.

I'll bring up the white zebra in the room. A lot of these tuning incongruencies, are straight from a lack of being able to tune. Plain and simple.

Off topic, @MadTaco461 , were you ever able to install that air temp sensor?

ummm can we throw a saddle on that zebra and figure out what to do with it? I hate to leave it in the stable all the time... also I think I may be out of horse metaphors.... can I get the counsel any more info that would lead to correction?

@Torspd was talking about those of us who don't have any way to tune and the "incongruencies" that follow I think. Nothing wrong with looking for ways around it when budget doesn't allow for certain things and helping others who's budget doesn't allow. Without blowing your engine up of course.
