Was doing a seafoam treatment on the truck when I noticed these two connectors tucked under the fuse box in the engine bay adjacent to the battery and the charcoal canister. I tried following the harness as far as I possibly could and it goes somewhere under the fuse box.

Now I'm in the process of converting my truck to 4WD and these connectors look a hell of a lot like the transfer case position sensors that detect if it's in N, 4Hi, 4Lo, etc.

I have a feeling these are related to the 4WD ADD system, but aren't used because it's a PreRunner.

    Anyone have any ideas?

Those are the plugs for the vacuum valves that would run the vacuum ADD motor. Your truck either has manual hubs, or is a 2wd.

PreRunner sir. So as I understand I'm wired for ADD? I just need the VSV's?

I already am running manual hubs but I'm curious if I could use pushbutton 4WD instead of j-shift

I would imagine that it's only partially wired. You would need to track the wires back. I'm not sure where the 4wd ECU is normally mounted.

Easiest thing for you would be manual hubs and j-shift tcase. Only wiring for that is the 4wd light.

Behind the driver's side kick panel, it piggybacks ontop of the RS3200 security module or just by itself if you don't have the security system. I didn't have any extra connectors behind there when I did my power door conversion though.

okay so, there's a black wire, a red one and a yellow one coming from the alternator..... I assume that the red and yellow ones go to the hot side or the positive side of the battery but this one that's black with a white stripe, I don't want to give it the wrong charge, so I need help knowing where it runs to?
