    Cowboys went for it on 4th and 1 with maybe 5 minutes left in game. The game is a tie at this point. Dak prescott dove in to try and make the first down. It was really close so they used that measuring chain. But apparently that still wasn't clear that the ball was short , so the referree uses this and screws the Raiders:

    Cowboys ended up winning from a field goal that they scored that drive.

    How is it different for a rusher? Are you comparing a situation when the ball carrier already has posesion vs when the receiver is in the process of attempting to make a reception?

    The more common scenario for this type of incomplete pass is when when a defender makes a hit to knock the ball loose. This seems to be a lot less controversial.

    Pats actually had 2 penalties for 4 yards while the Steelers had 6 for 63 yards. They’re just a more disciplined team than almost all other teams in the league. No need to point to collusion because of it.

    Both teams had their fair share of chances to win the game. He didn't maintain possession as he crossed the plane. Not a catch. Great game that certainly lived up to the hype. I hope they battle at Gillette Stadium next month for the title with Antonio Brown healthy.
