I took a trip up to Mount Lemmon with my GF to look for a place we heard that serves some delicious pies. But we come to find out that this place has been closed for about a year until further notice. We had no luck at all to find a place to eat, most of Mount Lemmon's businesses are closed until May.

The day was early, so we decided to head over to Reddington Pass. As we got on Reddington we decided to do some wheelin. I ran this trail with a couple of TW members (and ex-TW members) last year during the AZTW Camping trip.

Yeah, it is in Tucson.

About a 30 min drive up Catalina Highway. It overlooks Tucson and the surrounding areas.

Yeah, it was a great day for a trail run. We had a few mud holes to go through.

 

I wish I could regear this thing myself, I have no clue what to do with diffs. If some one locally knows what to do, I don't mind helping and learning.

I purchase 4.10 gears from a guy from TTORA, he sold it to me for $35 shipped. The ring and pinion should be in by Friday.

Yes, I do have the PowerTrax locker... waiting to be installed.

 

congrats on the sweet deal on the gears! I'd get a pro to do the regear. From what I've seen it can sometimes be tricky to get it right. Or at least get someone who knows what they're doing to help you.

 

I was thinking of doing this myself, the more I was reading up on it, I have to be extra careful, especially with some bearings. Damaging the bearings would cost about $60 just for the part. So I will find some one locally to do the install. 4WP said they can do it for $275 (if I supply the parts). The next thing I will be looking for is a master install kit. There is one on ebay for about $175+shipping, most shops I've been calling told me they have master install kits for about $230 plus tax.

Yes, only the rear because I only have 2WD
