I’ve got a CCG GT perf mesh grill in my garage ready to go on but I’m trying to decide the best way to make my chrome bezel flat black. Matt at CCG suggested vinyl, but I’m torn between paint, plastisip, and vinyl.

What’s your opinion and thought about the longevity of the plastidip?

The amount of basic spelling errors here is atrocious. Just accept it and deal with the disk breaks, grilles and windsheilds.

I am guilty of this and my spelling/ grammar are not great.

Add the auto correct program on my phone to the mix, ( of changing to if etc. ) and my posts are sometimes really bad.

I really dislike members who are not familiar with each other correcting each other, since I compare it to somebody new showing up on the job site, and pointing out grammatical errors in other workers speech- it doesn't happen, since many of the people I work with would probably loose it after awhile- none of us are rocket scientists, unlike many members of TW, lol

    Just saying.

The spelling mistakes are far too common, but it shouldn’t be a point of contention. Not everybody knows the difference between ‘their,’ ‘there,’ and ‘they’re’; or ‘your’ and ‘you’re.’ It drives me nuts, but who am I to take it on to educate or correct people?

If somebody wants to point it out they have too much time on their hands and/or are pissed about something else. Much of the time I feel it it is in gest anyway—it shouldn’t be taken as a personal attack. If somebody is offended their mistake was pointed it out, they should ignore it and move on. No sense getting in a pissing match over something so trivial. It is often the reaction that escalates the situation.

Note: while writing this my phone ‘corrected’ all kinds of mistakes, making the above post completely illegible. It corrected ‘pissing’ to ‘possum’ for example, and ‘spelling’ to ‘speaking’. Not to mention the mistyping by my fat fingers.....
