I just want to know if he got them. Is that too much to ask? I tried to figure him out based on his post history and picked some things for him and his truck I thought he'd like and I knew he didn't have...and after one initial post from item #1 he's gone silent regarding #2 and #3. It's frustrating, because if he didn't get them there are actions I need to take.

    :annoyed:

Is a little feedback too much to ask? Seems like simple respect to me.

This is a very simple request indeed. Not too hard and not time consuming either. A few minutes taken out of our busy lives to send a quick thank you, pics of said generosity, a "you really shouldn't have, but thank you so much anyways", and a Merry Christmas to you and your family as well. As the recipient also says they plan to reverse stock said person for their time in sending a great gift or gifts during this very busy holiday season if the gifter has not revealed themselvses.

 let their feelings be hurt. Some people in this society today expect free handouts and without expecting to return the favor, but we all know this. We except the fact that there are bad apples out there because things are much different today from when our parents and grandparents were our age especially those that lived through the Great Depression when they had to be humble and greatful for what they had. Instant gratification happens all too often these days when in some ways we don't even realize it. One is the streaming of entertainment instead of having to head to the nearest Blockbuster in hopes they still had a copy of the latest movie to come out and getting your hopes crushed when the last copy was taken by the person in front of you. Then it was back to the drawing board to try and figure out what to rent but knowing that you aren't as excited as you were minutes before.

You are just a youngin! You can't possibly know what Blockbuster was or appreciate it's special magic that it had on us kids/adults. A place that would charge you an extra day fee for being a minute late.
