I would consider battery tray a strictly materials cost as I would fab some up or just repurpose a universal one
I use a grinder with a cut off wheel. I get decent cuts

Ill try the grinder next time.

Also, my battery tray cost me like $20-$30 to build. I also had enough material left over to make some other stuff as well. The joys of working with aluminum. So much easier than steel.

I am totally fucking jealous that you have the space in your engine bay.... Sport life I guess....

    Hydraulic cable cutter.

But all you need to do is tape it about an inch long and cut between the tape with a bandsaw. Works just as good

That's why I don't get why anyone would but a sport over off road. At least from the 3rd Gen.

You get locker multi terrain, more engine bay space all for the same price.

I feared the multi terrain select when I saw it. I looked up and saw some weird dial with little trucks off roading on it, said to the wife 'I dont think this is the off road machine I want'. Got the 2nd gen.

Not even 12 inch difference. 10 inches only difference. And the off road stuff is better than that 10 inches.

Multi terrain is great. Lots of times when we were on the trails I was using it and it kept wheels from spinning.

The crawl control is meh though

Nice, I cant wait to try out my new phone with some wheeling action. I think the FLIR will be something really neat to see what parts of the truck are actually hot and cold when under load in the snow.
