    A lot of stuff

I’ve done all of this by myself and it took about a day, I’ve also helped others. It’s all pretty easy to do . If you wanted to save some cash PM me. This kit is also a great way to learn how to wrench on your truck, there’s nothing crazy about UC arms shocks or leaf springs just pull out old stuff and put new stuff in.

gonna have to cut up something now! I guess you can attach a meat grinder to the side of it. Not sure if you need a saw for deer. The shoulder roasts I get have been sawed. Could also start picking up a half of uncut steer or something. I have a lot of butcher learnin' to do.

Install of that should cost no more than a case of beer and a couple large pizzas. I did the stage 3 with a couple buddies in about 5 hours. Hardest part is getting the UCA bolts out and lining up the washers and bushings when you install the new UCAs, the rest of it is pretty much unbolted the old and bolt on the new. Especially on a new truck where nothing is rusted in place.

We charge $105 per hour when you buy the parts through us, and $140 per hour for customer supplied parts. Even at $140 I'd still come in $180 less overall. We have tightened things up here in the last year on labor estimates, no more 8 hour quotes on Toyota suspensions.

On Sam's rig? I believe from a previous conversation with Sam that was before I started working here, and no one could understand why he was quoted 8 hours. KDSS only becomes a problem if the remote resevoir brackets are for a non-kdss rig.

Well what should have been a quick and easy Timing Belt replacement on the gfs car turned a bit more interesting.

Sooo this is the timing belt tensioner. As i found it after getting it opened up. Lets just say theres two issues. 1) That arrow looking thing is supposed to be between the "v" and 2) That whole "v" and other part are supposed to be about 45 degrees counter clockwise. The bent part by the "v" fits in a slot there...

So now instead of just swapping the belt with the mark-n-match method looks like we get to actually find timing marks and do it "by the book"

Surprisingly no damage (that we know of) was done with a pretty loose belt

All I know is fuck that place.

I'll offer my services to help install in order to avoid you going there.

@Jon@Mule (Not actually him- but no one else there can be tagged I don't think) Made quick work of removing my front coilovers (with KDSS), adjusting them, and reinstalling. Considering the front one is the one that's "hard" to work with, they're clearly able to work with them.

For real though @danneskjold I have no idea how to install leaf springs, but I'll do the rest if someone else does that part.

For the price of making sure I don't get hungry or thirsty.

Leaf springs are pretty simple. Just takes some muscling around to get them in and out.

Adding leafs to a pack really just means needing a c clamp. Squeeze it together and undo the center bolt and slowly release. Opposite to put back together.

I've done a few sets at this point. It's not hard as long as you have a set of jack stands and a large (6") c clamp.
