Funny Foghat story... back when I was a wee lad, I used to hang out in my buddy's basement, playing pool and cranking the living pi** out of the Fool For the City album. (Yes, actual vinyl. I'm old, haven't we covered this already?) One of my buddy's older brothers had his bedroom in the basement, and he got so sick of our limited musical interest that he came out of the bedroom, ripped the platter off the turntable, (if you're younger than 35, have your parents explain these strange words...), and threw it against the wall, shattering it into at least 5-8 pieces. Tragedy? Nah. We pooled our change, rode our bikes into town, plopped down the $3.27 a new one cost, rode back home, and dropped the needle. His brother came out of his bedroom, said, "you little f-ers have really got some big balls", and went back in his room, never to bother us again!

That's how you do it... ;)

That is what happened the first time......2010,

the issue is, there is 0 money for anything. I have difficulty just meet basic expenses right now.

funny, i never though that at 42 i would need to go back to my first job pay rate but work harder than ever......

That's not how the ER at Brack works, nor the place that replaced it, the one with the namesolongIrefusetolearnit. They don't turn anyone away, and can't.

the Er's in LA don't turn anyone away either, you just wait 10-12 hrs sometimes. I blew my left lung out and I waited 6 hrs to see someone.........

gunshots? heart attack?......don't even want to think about the time it would take.....I know one hospital in LA where gun shot victims would die in the hallways before being looked at...........

if it aint serious I aint goin

Hey, I dropped a note to the Admins of the FB Tundra group here in Austin, to see if they wanted to roll out to C&C next month. There might be more Toyotas out there than can be comprehended. Hide yo' wimmen and chiddren!

If it is, rub some dirt on it, wrap it in duct tape, and keep going.

Well, welcome and I'm happy to add you to the Austin list if you wish. @LostHusker is threadmaster down in SA, so you're in good hands.

BTW, best Mexican food in SA is at Peidras Negras de Noche off Laredo. You gotta go if you haven't already.
