Epic Customs in Tacoma (aside from the name)does good work and only charged me like 550 for an icon lift install on my KDSS equipped 4runner. Just my .2 cents leave the seattle area if you want a cheap price, or be patient and wait for someone to be a able to help you at the small price of beer and pizza.

I think all of us should know how to replace our suspension. It's easy enough. Swapping out coils however is not so easy. Also, adjusting my coilovers with that resi hose connector in the way is a pain. I need that King T-handle and a correct size punch tool.

I can also help with suspension installs if it's after the holidays. When i was a newb @BoatRacer showed me how to do it.

Sidetrack: Have you had any issues with your KDSS at all? Mine leans an inch or so occasionally and I've seen @AWilson013's lean 4+ inches. I'm happy to have it, i just dont know what other peoples experience with it is.

I think mine permanently has a slight lean. I have not experience any crazy lean though like some people.

Thanks for all the offers of help regarding the suspension. I'd definitely take y'all up on the offer but I head out of town in a week and a halfish and don't want to interfere with your holiday plans.

Hey there, im a SoCal local, and I plan on moving to Washington in the near future. I have a 2011 prerunnner, and living in SoCal I can hit almost all every trail, over here at least. Id like to keep my truck, but is it impractical to keep it living in washington, and just attempt to make up for my lack of 4wd with extremely oversized tires?

Kind of depends on what you want to do. Most forest service roads don't require 4WD but I think you will definitely be limited by the lack of it especially when the weather is shitty.

Awesome thanks man, I mean if those fire roads lead to some legit camping spots I guess I won't mind, but maybe ill just cough up the money to convert it, or just buy another one.

My holiday plans involve a whole lot of nothing :)

Get a locker for the rear and decent tires and youll get around pretty well on the vast majority of trails. Spend a bit of time and then decide to convert or not

Yeah I have a locker already, I was debating on saving cash on converting it, or just spend a quarter of that cash and just fitting some 37s under it, but I guess I’ll see how much I have saved up when I move

Just be wary when @JDAM starts talking about buying a pig farm.

On the flip side Tacomas are worth so much up here it might be worth it to trade it in for a 4x4 model vs spending all that money on 37s and making them fit and an ARB locker.
