It is worth it. Have not been harassed but had to remove them to pass my last inspection. Don't know what it's like in WV though. My current inspection is 2 months past due because I haven't had the them to take them off, or to go to a sketchy enough shop where it won't matter.

I fly out Thursday night, so I won't be around. Otherwise, I'd be game. I'll be back before the New Year if anything happens then.

Man you and me both. I took off the exhaust and put on the 2015 stock one with new tip and its so much quieter lol but now I really hear my cyclic whirr whirrrr around 30-40 mph. gonna need the ECGS here soon as well. I miss the deep response of the magna flow though

Speaking of which the magna flow is up for sale for good price or trade. Let me know before I slap it on craigslist or the forums.

Did you try adding a resonator after the muffler? It could have quieted it down some, but still keep the rumble when the skinny pedal goes to the floor.

I remember exactly what you are talking about. Some blaster and a long thin flathead screwdriver were my friend when I swapped in my trd exhaust.

Nope just decided to go back to stock since I found a brand new 2015 exhaust for $100 with a new tip that had been taken off at 5000 miles for the trd exhaust. But that was definitely my next option that or sound deadening the rear panel and possibly floor boards.

That's what I ended up doing lol had the rear jacked up and on double jack stands and chalked but still didn't want to pull/push to hard and have it slide out on me so had to use a little more arm strength than leverage.

You know after looking at the exhaust and thinking of a possible reroute for skids......why didnt Toyota bring that exhaust up a little more to tuck flat or above the cross member better for more clearance? Seems dumb to me. Defintely needed for more clearance with skids right in the middle which is a possible catch point.
