    just started the long drawn out journey to (hopefully) purchase a home. Wish me luck!

    Even though im typically pessimistic about things like this im hoping for a positive outcome. The wife and I have been in a 1/1 apt for far too long and now we hope to be able to grow and do so in a house. Im just hoping i didnt screw myself by waiting so long.

    which is understood. I have a good amount that was left for me from my grandparents for the down payment but otherwise i dont have any other choice. To upgrade apartments it will equal similar payment to a mortgage. I'd rather own something than rent if prices are close.
