Accutune is legit. They sold and tuned my shocks. I asked about re-tuning some 2.0 rear Icons I got in a trade but I think they said they can't get shims from icon to re-tune. I'd imagine they can get other rebuild parts though. @GHOST SHIP PM @*TRD* for help, he's the owner.

Ya, re-tuning as in adjusting shim stacks. Icon keeps their stuff kind of proprietary, which sucks since it's not that great. My fox stuff rides tits after the AccuTune treatment.

I need to weigh my options. I’ll be adding weight this year but aside from that I know my shocks are limiting travel in the rear. I’ve debated going B110 because they give the travel I want at a fraction of the cost of what I’m running now. If I do that, I’ll be selling the icons before they’re in actual need of a rebuild.

I’m more anal about keeping everything matching (brand) than I am about the subtle nuances of how the ride feels. I don’t beat my truck but it is nice to not have to slow down for some obstacles on the street and off road.

I had my rear Fox revalved with more compression and a little less rebound. Made a huge difference with the overall feel and performance that includes towing the crawler or loaded up with my crap for the weekends.

I would like to mention I lowered the pressure in my front coil-overs down to 150psi from 200 psi when I added #700 springs. That also made a noticable difference.

Theres not a whole lot that can be done to make Icons plushy feeling like you can do with Fox, kings, ADS or Sway A Way

Try the heavier coils first to get a base of how it feels, then decide how to valve

Man I have my fox 2.5 with cdc adjusters I wish they came with a manual. Still not fully sure how to adjust them. I think so far they ride ok but I can’t really tell which way I should adjust them.

I did the same when I recently rebuilt my icons. So far I'm pretty satisfied with them. The guys that reinstalled my coils thought I was crazy for being that low.... not sure what they were so surprised about though :notsure:

I just did the pressure change this round. I did revalved my rears though.

Once I have my coil compressor built, I'll start playing with the front shims. Definitely not paying the $60 to remove/install the springs every time I want to revalve. Haha.

How many miles have you put on your icons before rebuilding them?
