I missed it yesterday but check out who landed. Blue Angels will be the headliner at the airshow here in April.

Nice! I get up there every now and again - typically head for Sedona if I'm going to Northern AZ. I'm down in Tucson :woot:

This plane's name is Matilda in case you were wondering

Hope your kids are young. Not all 4 seat aircraft can actually fly with 4 people and fuel.
That thing looks like it would be a blast in the desert! So many off airport places to play at :)
What do you have those big tires on there for? Do any ops at unimproved fields? Either way, they fit the 206 well. It looks very utilitarian!

Funny story...my brother had a Cherokee 180 (since upgraded) and used to fly his kids around, even to see our folks that lived just 2 hrs away. One time we were all at my folks and his youngest (prolly 4 or 5 at the time) was acting up.

Out of my brothers mouth..."If you don't shape up and behave, I'm putting you back in the plane and taking you home!"

I busted a gut, but the lad minded his p's and q's after that....some punishment LMAO!

You flying the heli tour stuff? Wife and I did the tour a few months ago and the pilot let me sit up front with him and we BS'd about getting a rotary add on :D

We do a little bit of off airport stuff for work - not a whole lot. Given the work this plane does (low and slow), big tires make sense to land on railroad tracks (since we're imaging the tracks...) it's an easy out even though you'll likely sacrifice the airplane.

I've told my daughter on a recent flight to Mexico - "don't make me turn this airplane around..!" :goingcrazy:

I wish i was flying them. Dont have the total time for 135 mins. I just load and schedule and do part 91 ops. Do you remember the color of the helicopter. We fly the red r44's and r66's out of there. The addon would be good for flying for fun once you are making really good money.

Makes sense. I flew the Cardinal down to the grass strip on a deer lease we manage the other day. It was my first time landing on grass and I loved it!

My friend at work also took a picture of me that I thought was really cool, so I'll share that one too. Haha

    Congrats!!
I actually went through ATP as well. I may flown that exact same Seminole!

Here is something to motivate you...... From the time I got my CMEL, it took me just under 6 years to get hired by Southwest. I haven't been flying commercially all that long, even though I have been flying for the last 15 years (I was a commercial photographer before). I was a full-time flight instructor for a year and a half and I have flown 135 charter/corporate for the last 4 years or so. I did have a plan and I pushed myself towards leadership positions, so keep that in mind with your goal planning. You are coming to aviation at a good time.

    My dream!

I flew into Sedona last month. Perhaps I saw you!

That is my kind of punishment!

Could be possible. Thats not that long at all time wise. Im really debating on trying to go flight instruction, regional, and then airline.
