No offence, but is this whole ‘TRD’ thing stupid?

The main reason I bought an SR5 and not a TRD was because It came with a real "4x4" emblem on the tailgate. I didn't See any TRDs with this legit marking. I think it's the same exact one that dodge Rams come with. However, My SR5 still leans slightly to the left like the TRD, I assumed that this is a racing inspired feature (Talladega package)

The lean goes away in your "Sport Rally 5-speed" when your navigator gets in with their notes and helmet.

They are indeed. They double as steps and door-ding protection at the mall, plus you can lift your truck from any point on them if you're into any of that off roading stuff. Demello Rock Crusher.

My Brahs above are quite correct. Demello Rock Crushers. No mo door dings, step up for the kids, street cred at the mall.

Yeah TRD is so dumb  its like SS, I mean who ever really believed their car was really designed playing a super sport. We have to take everything literal, so what sport is/was a car designed to play?

It’s true. My truck isn’t actually Tacoma. How can a truck be a mountain?

Toyota lies. I don't see any wild animals in the back of the Tundra either

I am on toyota's website and just noticed the sport is 31k msrp and the off road is 36k. Is there really that much price to add a rear locker? That's the only difference i'm seeing.

I'm also comparing manual to manual.

Its the rear drum brakes and the parking brake lever. Old race cars had those so you can drift them.

That’s interesting. When I bought my OR in 2017, they were the same price IIRC. Maybe the whole scoop vs. locker equation is finally adding up.

Everyone knows that anodized oil caps are crucial to performance and could only be developed from racing. :anonymous:
