If it’s an open diff, 4.56 times for every two axle rotations.

ARB with factory gears would be pretty bulletproof, as long as you’re quick at changing CVs

Cvs won't be an issue lol it's the diff I'm thinking will be the weak link. Getting the solo 4340 axles. Paul at Solo recommended a trutrac in the front but I'm thinking arb.

ARB will definitely be the way to go then, those spider gears won’t stand a chance with upgraded axles otherwise.
You’re right, the diff will be the weak link, but it’ll be the actual housing that’ll break first.

Got home from my last final to this beauty. Can't believe how huge this damn thing is... it's like one foot by one foot.

Have my new upper ball joints coming in tomorrow, and a bunch of other front end stuff. 4WD swap is definitely happening Saturday, I'm removing the bed just for shits and giggles Friday night.

You know it is a good system so I shouldn't put it out there like that - I have a preference for simple stuff (simple minded guy go figure lol) so I'll eventually get a manual tube.

Should make for fun pics lol

Luckily they do the Dana hubs that run independent of the axles so I can freewheel after lol

Today while taking my son to school my truck started idling all weird in neutral or park. it would rev up to 2k. If I put it in drive it would go down to about 1500k. I always warm up my truck in the morning for about 5 minutes. jumped on the highway for about 5 miles. I noticed the reving when we got off the freeway.

After I dropped him off I headed off to work. drove for another 10 miles on the highway and it stopped.

    Weird huh??

Funny how Ford guys make fun of us for having 'imports' yet their trucks are made in Mexico which most of our trucks are made in the U.S. (1st gens were all built in Fremont AFAIK, but I know some 2nd and 3rd gens are built in Tijuana.)

Car manufacturing is weird... you know where the final assembly of my Mercedes E320 was? Tuscaloosa, Alabama. My buddy's E30 was built in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Not even German cars are German anymore

I was in Mexico on a cruise a couple years ago and took this picture in the port of Mazatlán. I'm really proud of this picture, it was hundreds of rows of Nissan Rogues all in order. What's crazy is exactly one was missing in the middle. They load them all onto train cars from the port and I presume they ship into the states from there.

Thanks! Wish they were Tacomas that would've been a trippy shot.
