    Put one on the bumper, then you can open a brew even when the bed is packed to the max.

    Do any of you guys or gals need a new iPad? I picked up a Mini 4 128gb in Space Grey about two months ago to use with my DJI Spark. I've picked it up twice. I am just not an Apple person. I keep using my Android phone cause it fits in my case. Asking 350.00. LMK

    Goneskis! DaRyan, enjoy! Yes, you are now known as DaRyan... :rofl:

    No inside joke. Several different bed stiffeners are made with an integral bottle opener which I think is a neat idea. The bumper opener is a good idea also because let's face facts, when the bed is full like you said, the bottle opener isn't likely to be accessible.

    FYI: If you buy the new pixel direct from Google, they'll give you minimum $335 (32gb) for the pixel phone on a trade in and $400 for the pixel XL.

    I'll get some pics when I get home but I chalk it up to over eagerness to install the rack and trying to use a spade bit w/ cordless drill set at 15. Let's just say that those rubber moulding can really stretch if you put enough torque on em.

    Bought a proper hole saw kit on Amazon and did what I could to clean it up but the lip still looks like the neck of that old undershirt I use to wash my bike.

    That was the passenger side...

    Decided to see if I could do better on the driver side, I had the right tools so I marked the holes on the moulding and after removing the steel belt on those areas, proceeded to drill holes directly in the middle. Did it nice and slow so I didn't wrap the molding up again and everything came out as I had hoped. Unfortunately I didn't account for the fact that the mounting holes aren't directly centered through the entire channel.

    So ultimately I have one moulding that resembles a piece of half cooked bacon and one that doesn't match the mounting bolts. Needless to say, I'm incredibly impressed with my ineptitude.

    To add injury to insult, my duct tape cover leaked Sunday morning and I came out to a puddle on the floor of the truck...

    @JerryTaco has a pretty solid method for those mouldings and rack install.

    I'll take any advice available. I can't afford to screw up another set of $150 mouldings

    @JerryTaco you have the beta?

    I’d just install the rack & silicone the bolts as usual until you get some molding, that way it won’t leak again

    Well, first and foremost, for the holes, use a 3/4 inch leather punch. Cleanest and fastest way to make the holes. As for the measurements, I replace the molding with 1 inch painters tape, mark the holes then transfer that entire strip of tape to the molding, mark the hols on the moldings and then punch away. Make sure to double and triple check your measurements and the tape alignment on the molding.
