Tailgate Protector?

Has anybody found one for the 2016+? I've reached out to DeeZee but they don't make them.

No but what do you mean? storage for inside the tailgate?

 

Haven’t seen them for Tacoma’s but I’ve been looking at one from a company called wagon gear but it’s for land cruisers. Might be able to make it work?

 

I've always thought it would be nice to have a rubber-like surface here for sitting on, placement of camping gear without slippage, etc. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Right, that's the same one I've been looking at too. Interesting right? The more storage solution the better in my book.

 

With the 3rd row down in the land cruiser there isn’t much room. I want it to put toe strap, voodoo rope and a few other small items. Can’t toss a toolbox in the back like the Tacoma
