    So,
    I decided to check out 4wheel parts downtown, in hopes they had a line on rock sliders I have not exhausted yet........

    no dice, I seems I have to have the 4x4 to find ready made rock sliders or I have no choice but to modify the pre runner's frame to fit them...........

    yes, seems the dclb has frame rivets in the area the rock sliders would normally mount to if it were a dcsb......the 4x4 does not have this reinforced area.....

    looks like custom expensive for this

    I was looking at BSP type sliders, standard tubes are readily available, it is the kick outs and the BSP versions that don't seem to work on the pre runner.........thought the frames were the same, maybe the dclb pre runner has a slight difference.

    Avid has a set, full custom build...400 without powder coating......famous fab has a set....6 bills........custom again...

    I was looking for a set of bolt ons, only reason is I saw a dodge with a set of weld on on and the driver side looks like a forklift grabbed it and yanked the bar down and out.......not saying I'm gonna try and rock crawl my 2wd, but......shit happens.
