Been a big 2 days for the truck. Changed oil/filters, added bumper reinforcements from ATH, put in energy suspension radiator support bushings, added extended stainless steel brake lines front and rear, installed all pro expo leafs and fluid filmed the truck!

What does everyone use for cb/ ham, I'm going to get my ham licence and looking for a good setup.

 

What are these?

They are an additional brace that goes over the bumper mounting points and tie it into the frame for added strength during winching

 

Ahaha I don’t know about ham man. I’m just trying to get everyone else on the ham train since it’s better than CB.

Ah... Okay. I saw pictures of those with the bumper he's making now. I was wondering to myself if he sold them seperate.

As of now I don’t think he does. He just had an extra set laying around that he sold me. I believe relentless fab makes reinforcements that are very similar.

 

They are quite a bit of backorder

 

Is that all you use or do you have one hardwired inside as well?

 

I only have that one, but I have an external antenna that I can connect to it. I’m still pretty new to the ham game and don’t have a lot of time with it under my belt.

Morning gents, I’m trying to decide on where to get engaged. Should I do it on top of a volcano or at the clear lakes in Guatemala?

 

The ones that I had, now Calebs, were made from @JLee at BAMF. They were beefy as hell, and pretty cheap. The stock Demello braces didn't give me much in terms of bracing, so I was happy to have Jerrys braces on mine.

 

I would choose volcano, but that's just me.

 

Weekend after Christmas would work too so we can get some more people together.

Smoky, hot, erupting... sounds like a good passionate place to pop the question. The other place sounds serene, but the volcano sounds more exciting and memorable.
