Installed this today. Bought it off Amazon super easy to install. Gonna power my Dometic fridge with it. (The 12 volt cigarette) not with the USB.

I got my Faux Pro Grill swapped out with a genuine Toyota Pro Grill and and new OEM headlights.

A few weeks ago I took my truck in for its 20,000 mile Toyota care service. When they were washing my truck, there was a malfunction on the car wash door and they somehow drove my truck into the car wash door when exiting. The door caught on my grill when opening and busted the tabs on both headlights that hold the grill surround and scratched the Faux Pro grill. Dealership was super embarrassed but didn’t try to hide it and replaced everything at their cost. It was about $1000, they said the headlights are $400+ each.

They offered other options since most damage was internal and not visible aside from the scratches on the grill. I didn’t want to play them and try to weasel more stuff out of them for an honest mistake and just asked that they return the truck to the same condition it came in for the service.

They washed it again after the repairs. They said they had to make sure the curse was lifted.

    Thanks for the idea.

Works great with .270 shells as well. In case you want a little more "manly" of a round!

I did have to grind the casings down about half way... But it only took a few seconds on my belt sander. Then i just hammered metal valve caps inside the casing. They're in there real tight... Doubt i could get them out now... But i wouldn't want to, and the valve caps are cheap enough to replace if ever needed.

A real cheap but cool little mod!! I dig it.

I put a drop of super glue in the casing and pushed the cap in as far as it would go. Then I took a razor and trimmed off the end of the cap so it was flush with the casing then lightly sanded it. I have a few 9mm casings I’m going to try them with too, just because.
    Yours turned out good too.

Somebody posted that aluminum caps may react with the TPMS sensors.

Do you mean the brass shell casings or the actual valve caps? My truck came with these aluminum valve caps from the dealership and i have had no issues...

It's supposed to be the caps, not the casings. Mine also came with aluminum caps, so I don't know where the information for that post came from. Anyway, I really like the way the casings look.

I went with the GTR 3 from headlightrevolution.com. Did a lot of research. VLEDs and Morimotos are also supposed to be good for the lows, I don't know how they work for the highs. I had OPT7s before, the GTRs are MUCH better. The LEDs may throw more light but they will not throw as far as the h9s. Try some high output h9s before you go with LEDs. BTW, the GTRs are excellent for the lows. They're not cheap, but they were on sale when I bought them. I don't know if the sale is still going on.

    Thanks! I appreciate it!

The @Baja Designs lights are completely plug and play once you add their bezel kit. Install is very easy and straight forward, I’m really happy with how it came out (see here for my review with more pictures, info, and links)
