you shouldn't have to re-wire really. just hook up the wires to the harness that comes with the switch. @Justanotherhemi send it to him, we cant let him leave it like that. if you want to get fancy you could but you don't have to. I have my illumination wired into the dimmer switch.

I roll in these or the Tru-Spec variety too!!! They hold their color and wear great! I have two pair that are more than 5 years old!

 

I know, but my wiring was done so pretty with heat shrink and braided wire cover that I don’t want to mess with it. Plus the main reason is because I run power straight from the battery, through the switch and to the lights which is 3A. The mictuning switch is rated at a max of 3A so I don’t want to push it.
