I have a buddy who brought his PreRunner up here from San Diego when he got out of the Navy and he doesn't even bother ever trying to bring it out anywhere, usually just rides with someone else. You can probably do 85-90% of what you would want with a locker and some bigger tires but that other 10-15% of the time you will be wishing you had 2 more drive wheels. Not to mention if you go up to 37" tires you will then be heading down the road of needing a re-gear desperately at which point you might as well have spent all that money on a 4x4.

    Just my 2 cents.

Day 2 of the new job... I get a truck and trailet stuck and it takes 3 wreckers to get me out.

    Day 3, flat tire.

I wonder how day 4 will go.

Anyone on here have a all pro apex front bumper with a warn Zeon 10s winch? And if so how did you make it fit? I’ve already moved the tranny radiator and now I’m thinking I might have to cut the support bracket in the middle. Any thoughts ? Should I be good with cutting it?

My support bracket was cut by the previous owner/installer to fit my xd9000. But I've got an ARB bumper. Haven't noticed any issues.

Why did you buy a winch with an integrated solenoid, or is it one of those where you can remove it? If so, you might want to relocate the solenoid. If not...

The solenoid is not the problem. The cable/line is. When it’s fully rolled on it rubs the bracket. So I’m pretty sure that bad boy is going to get cut.

I went out to look at my setup - really old Relentless, so not totally same, but I have these tidbits: The bracket has two functions, to secure the transmission radiator and to provide extra stability for the front grill. If you get some flat stock from Home Depot, you can probably come up with an alternatively-routed mount for the tranny radiator.

Is there any slop in mounting holes for winch? Maybe you can loosen it up try pushing winch forward a bit.
