Entertaining the idea of selling the Tacoma and going a different direction. Camping and exploring will always be in my blood but thinking a bigger platform will work better for my family. I'm not forced to sell either, so if it doesn't no big deal. Just means I can enjoy our adventures uninterrupted.

Truck will be sold complete and 100% turn key, tried and true, ready for your next adventure - RTT, Fridge, Suspension, Lighting, Compressor, Navigation/Communication, Drawer System, Compressor, Camping Equipment, Etc. The tablet/navigation app will include all of my maps, trips, waypoints, etc for nearly all of Southern California, Death Valley, Mohave desert, High Desert, Eastern Sierras, Arizona, Etc.

I work as the manager at a Toyota & Lexus specialty shop and have done so for the last 16 plus years and this reflects how well the truck has been maintained. Truck just had a major service done 5k miles ago which was all differential fluids, transmission fluid, coolant, brake/power steering, spark plugs. 2003 thru 2006 4.0's also can be known for head-gasket issues and Toyota has since released a superseded gasket that correct's the problem, this has been completed on the truck as well about 30k ago. This truck is bullet-proof and will be good for a LONG time - (not uncommon for these Tacomas/4Runners to go 400k plus).

Serious inquires can setup a time to meet at my shop for a complete run-down, inspection of vehicle and setup/teardown of equipment.

    Located in Menifee, Ca
    Approx 169,900~
    Asking $25,000.

    Thank you.

To be honest, we've got a 8 year old and his friends that just started riding so might pickup something with a diesel and a toy hauler so he/they can pursue that. I remember being his age and learning to ride and being "one with the elements" and how much that was a fundamental part of who I am so I want to pass that experience on.

I have a 4 year old red heeler named Red, cause I'm original. Best dog I've ever had in my life.

Amazing truck man hope you get what your asking.

Awesome, ours is about 4 as well. Great dogs, super loyal and crazy smart. Ours just isn't a fan of new people but great with other dogs. Agree with best dog, hard to beat.

Yeah I read that it was a heeler trait to be suspicious of strangers. Mine is same way. So smart, crazy fast, I'll definitely stick with the breed.

Ya Tacoma's and Red Heelers great combo, both hardy, fast and reliable. Got a 3yr old named Mito (red like Mitochondria). Was yours a yahoo till 2 years old? Once mine hit 2 he became the best. Didn't mean to turn this into a Heeler thread, I also dig your ride and am sure it will be sold right quick.

    Thanks.

The frame and drawer are made out of galvanized steel. The top is pressure treated plywood lined in outdoor carpet. The inside of the drawer is lined as well. It basically lives in the back of the truck and it's handled the mild elements here in So. Cal no problem. Only thing I can see happening long, long LONG term would be that wood needing to be replaced but it would be as simple as unscrewing it, using the old piece as a template and cutting/installing new wood.

As far as being weatherproof, not sure. Once again, in Southern California. It's survived and kept the inside dry through rain/washes and hardly any dust inside during a trip.

Some pictures of when I bought it.

Thanks, this gives me a good reference since our load outs are probably pretty similar. Now I just have to decide if it is worth it. Most people are only getting 11-13" of travel with the TC SUA. I have that now so its a matter of whether the swap from droop to bump travel is worth it or if I just wait and do links like @Evenflow or put the truck on a diet and do a DMZ SUA.
