OK I spent an hour searching but could not find. I cannot find a company that makes a front mount hitch for my '06 tacoma. I need to get my 19' searay in and outa my back yard. Has anyone else had better luck or do I need to fab one up myself; I was going to hide it behind the licence plate.

It may be easier to maneuver a trailer! But lets think about this in the long run.

You can not drive a truck on the road backwards :)

So you will be paying for the one or two times you use it in the front where as the back you will use more. And if you ever decide to get a boat and you load it in the water. By the time you get low enough to launch the boat you will most likely have water in your engine!

LOL no no the front hitch is used to operate easier in tight spaces like turning my boat into my back yard from the alley. I'd drop the boat in the alley switch the reciever to the front re hook and drive it in to the backyard. The steering tires next to the hitch makes it easier. At the launch ramp the rear hitch is fine, this is just for home use.

Thanks for the additional info. I've never seen a power tug, but don't think it would work, my alley is dirt and would have to push up over a hump, I doubt it would get traction, neet idea though. I have no interest in having the Curt hanging that low out the front of my truck. CBI saya they will ship to Canada, IMO not worth doing it all myself for what he's asking. Just wish he had some made up already...thanks again!

The Curt hitch really doesn't look that bad on the front. I'll get a picture tomorrow (we're headed for a week camping) and try to post it so you can see it.

    Cheers!
