    jesus was a jew...the jews were his chosen people...most of them didn't believe jesus was God's son when he came to earth...but some of them did...like the 12 disciples....i think they were all jews...or like Paul who killed christians at first...then he was born again....the jews rejected jesus and didn't believe he was the messiah...because of "religion"...hmm...they thought God's son would be a rich and powerful king or something but jesus came as an ordinary man and alot of them couldn't accept that....it would be like us voting in a construction worker to be the president of the united states......that's how it looked to them....very strange but true none the less...they let religion influence them or "politics" rather than the truth of God's word and their hearts....but there were some jews that did accept jesus

    Personally, (lol uh oh), religion is faith, and to have faith is to have hope. By praying for non-materialistic things, you sub-consciously understand how important something is to you, and the more you work towards it, the more faith you'll have. Everyone has their own opinion's, regions, thoughts, etc. I don't think you ever appreciate life, until you make life.

    My beliefs will accept me no matter how many times I pray a day, or who I pray to. One should never try to sell their religion onto others, it is the most selfish act ever. If one would wish to share beliefs, it should be volunteered, not forced, or impressed.

    yeah i agree with you on the too many religions thing....but the seeing part would require no faith...unfortunately believing in God is based on faith...but you can see it...you just have to look...it's not some mysterious untouchable thing...like when someone helps someone it's a good thing right....when they kill someone it's bad....we all know stealing is wrong or sleeping around on your wife or things like that....it's just something you have to search your own heart about....noone can convince anyone or force anyone to do anything...everyone has to make their own choice and decide for themselves what they want to believe

    i heard someone say this for example about God...."you can't see the wind...but we see the effects of the wind so we know it's there"...can we see the wind?...no...but it's there none the less....we know since we see the trees blowing and such...there's alot of things that exist that we can't see with our own eyes...that's where faith comes in
