Morning fam, busy day at work :burp:

And this weekend I’ll be installing a new doorbell transformer up in the attic and pulling new doorbell wire throughout the attic to replace all the old rotted wire. Asides from replacing the original wire, I’m attempting to bring the voltage up to 16.0 minimum (currently at 13.9v). If I succeed I’ll be installing a Ring Doorbell Pro.

It’s not that bad, once I learned a little bit of it I re did all the electrical in the house minus the Romex (actual wiring from breaker box to switches and outlets) in the walls. And the doorbell wire should be easy as it doesn’t appear to be stapled in the walls, just pulled through. And I’d rather do it now while the temps are nice and cool. The attic gets hot af during the summer

Got a battle scar today, had to review dash cam footage to make sure the douche in the jeep didn’t throw anything out the window. But after I got hit he sped off like a bat outta hell. He kicked up a giant half mud half rock. Nailed the a-pillar and dented it and took some paint off the drivers side. Gotta swing thru the body shop next week or so and most likely drop it off. Not bad but don’t want rust happening. Still shitty. Barely missed my fuckin windshield. It even heavily scuffed the windshield rubber moulding

It’s all good, shit happens but I’m ok and I didn’t end up with a shattered windshield. Yotas are tanks :D

On another note I ran new doorbell wire thru the attic, got the transformer installed, brought the voltage up well above 16.0, put a new digital chime for it in the hallway and installed a hardwired smoke/carbon monoxide detector this weekend. Tile comes next weekend lol
