I've got $20 to Amazon that I've got burning; just trying to wait till after the holidays in hopes of getting more Amazon $$ and so I can get free shipping too. My friend has them in his car and they are a great little thing to stop things from disappearing under the seat that way.

i'm at town fair tire getting new tires on the fj. their wifi has all dealership websites blocked wtf

 

Does anyone have any info on or dealing with these companies that buy vehicles outright? If and when I order it may be easier to just trade then, sell outright (which I hate) or use one of those buy it now groups. I like the trade option cause I keep my green plate plus it helps with the sales tax

 

there are plenty of dealerships that will just buy you car outright, acquisition is big right now. dealers don't want to have to go to auction to buy stuff

 

Well 6k for a ring wasn't too bad when you consider wedding was paid for and had open bar and we had a damn good time lol. We basically spent maybe 1k on the wedding but we then spent like 4k on honeymoon lol

 

We used CarMax to sell my Wife's Kia Soul before moving back east. It was super easy and they actually gave us a pretty fair deal. She had a few payments left on it and they worked it all out with Kia and just cut her a check for the difference. They gave us a nice mid price between trade in and private party. I probably could have gotten a little more if I had sold it privately but we didn't have the time. Its worth visiting them, the valuation is free and good for 48 hours? I think. Took about 30 mins. For reference her car wasn't perfect. Was in a major hail storm in South Dakota so most of the sheet metal was repaired/replaced and repainted.

I've learned that what I think looks good for jewelry and what any woman I've been with thinks looks good for jewelry are completely different.

 

Thankfully I've had good taste so far, from what I'm told

 

I figured I'd be safer buying her something like the iPhone X. At least it's useful. (before it gets an update)

 

Jewelry is useful

 

I paid about $700 for my phone and thought that was nuts. $1000+ is insanity. I think they keep creeping the prices up because most people break it out over 24 months so they barely notice it. I pay for it up front which makes it harder to justify high costs like that.

I have an S7 Active now. I don't think I could go back to a non-rugged phone. Plus the battery is outstanding. I typically charge it every other day even with heavy use.

 

Using that logic, lingerie is a useful gift. You heard it here first fellas!
