I did, didn't find any there. Maybe I'm using the wrong search terms

Let me check out his build

Leaning towards getting a camper shell + sleeping platform + bedslide

Do the 2nd gens have the slots for 2x6's on the sides?

I'm on my 3rd sleeping platform. What I've learned is keep is simple and most importantly as light as possable.

What kind of camper shell? I'd steer clear of all the fiberglass ones and gravitate toward a utility shell. Less dust and they actually keep water out.

Personally, I'd love to go the route of Overlanderd.

I'm at work so I don't have access to a lot of pictures to illustrate how little room you'll have if you try to put a platform OVER the Bedslide. I have a shell. It's not a 'camper' shell, so perhaps you have something else in mind. If I'm camping, I just throw a pad and some sleeping bags right on the Bedslide.

^he’s right. You loose a lot of real estate with a bed slide. Wouldn’t be worth it IMO for a platform setup.

For any of you with damaged TREDs, give their warranty claim a shot. They approved mine within a couple of hours. And they're not that bad.

I've seen more broken Tred's than anything else. Warranty or not, what a PITA.

Do they charge you for shipping when you warranty them, if so that blows and hopefully my TREDs don't break / crack like that.

3 years worth of use, so I'll live with it. At least I'm not throwing good money after bad. Unlike my suspension choices. :D
No mention of any shipping charges. No discussion of shipping the old ones anywhere.

My snugtop has gotten a lot better since I've dust proofed it. Before that it would seem to suck dust out of the air and store it up.
