I spoke with an associate @ work today who's brother in law owns a machine shop. I gave him several pictures of Tooters design to see if he would be interested in tackling it. Hopefully I will get word back in the next day or two on what he decides. If he's not up to it, another guy I work with is in the process of purchasing a CNC mill, so maybe he'll be willing. And he lives a block down the road from me. Bonus! I'll update as I get info.

Do us all a favorjangle, and try and have it designed to where nothing else needs modification, but still gives same results

It will be as identical as possible to the original, minus the "Tooter II.VII". And it may be white, depending on what prices I can get on plastics. Black is more $$.

That's not going to be possible. Think about what you are asking...it's a spacer. Something has to give somewhere. The only thing you can do is add a 2 inch longer silicone hose to the intake so you don't have to unbolt the chamber on top. I have a guy with cnc and laser scanner standing by, just need one to scan.

There's a complete build thread Tooter did on it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe he had to modify anything. Everything reached with the 2" spacer installed.

I can confirm, everything does fit with his 2" spacer. Though you need to disconnect and extend your wire harness and some vacuum lines AND your stock intake system.

To each his own, and no offence to the tooter, but after I make and install mine, there not gonna be any spliced wires or unbolted resonator boxes flopping around on top. It will look as factory as possible.

Would you be willing to help some brothers out and let @Bell214b borrow yours to scan it? I wouldn’t mind throwing you some dough for the favor.

Awesome, thanks for the info. That's pretty much what I read on the original Tooters post. I just installed the Injen EXTREMELY long intake that Tooter had, so the intake should be good.

To be honest, I don't notice a "huge" difference. I can feel a little more pull through the rpm's, and I'm not super fond of the added sound. I wanted the gains that Tooter saw, and I had some extra bucks, so I bought it. Install was very simple (only 2fastening points), and it definitely cleans up under the hood.

Depends? How old are you? Lol I didn't mind it on my Civic Si when I was 20 years old, but I'm pushing 40 I don't want a ricer. It's not bad unless your foots on the floor, and then there's definitely no mistaking it's there. And yes, I do have an LCE header.

    Too few to list.
LCE headers help but 3rd Gens are heavier. According to Toyota's specs, a AC 4x4 auto is 170 lbs heavier than a similar 2nd Gen.

My 2nd Gen V6 DC 4x4 weight exactly the same as my 3rd Gen AC 4cyl 4x4 (4,220 lbs)
