    It is a very nice place to climb! Great owners, great staff, really great routes to challenge yourself!

    I am going to be getting a membership pretty soon and start going a lot more now that I am Lead Climb Certified. Right now have just been getting a day pass and that adds up quickly...

    Who are you going to in Longview? I had my carrier bearing replaced at Longview Driveshaft and 4x4 and they did a good job

    I know!!! RWD only though. :(

    I have not done that... going to be around March or April I think for that when I take it to Tandem.

    Going to do the locker as well in the front so I can be FULLY LOCKED!

    I may have seen your truck around Tyler... I know of another 3rd gen with black wheels that looks really nice but cannot remember what kind of wheels it had on it.

    Saw it at Aspen Creek last Friday I think.

    overall seemed like a straight forward swap... seems like most all projects require some small modifications to match up with the specific truck and luckily those seemed fairly minor. thanks for sharing the experience on the install :thumbsup:

    Will do, if I had help and you did yours and knew what you were doing... I would not mind undertaking the install with help... would save on install.

    Ah. Must have been another truck.

    It was pretty straight forward. Could have been quicker but we took our time and my left arm was having issues as I had recently pulled something in it from climbing.

    Luckily the modifications were not very major and could be completed pretty easily. Dynatrac is sending me some more brackets so that the ABS line is actually clipped in instead of ziptied completely to the Brake Line so that is good on their end. I tried to remember everything as well as I could after the install, but I am going to go back and try and do a complete How-To on it including tools you will need and everything. Just need good weather to take pictures and do a right up with.

    Would it be a very expensive swap for someone if they had to purchase the actual kit, gears, locker, OEM parts, etc, etc... after it is all said and done... absolutely. Do I think I will be able to abuse it pretty hard without any issues... absolutely! Was it worth the small investment on my end to get it working... yes.

    So I am pretty happy that I won the kit and was able to get it installed in the truck!

    Just saw this, glad you got it figured out though!

    I literally enter any contest I see as I may win 1 in 20.. but that is better than 0 in 20.

    That is one thing I have never done is play the lottery...

    I would not mind having having a 60 for the front though... but maybe a looooong time down the road.

    Dropped off the drive shaft yesterday at Longview Drive Shaft and 4x4... will be picking it up today and will be RWD by tonight!

    Yea, price difference was pretty good as well and turn around time was way better as well.
