The awning makes it start to look like a finished product even though the inside is empty haha.

    Plans for Sunday are:
    1. Cut plywood floor to size and coat with flex seal
    2. Finish mounting the awning with proper bolts and sealing with silicone
    3. Weld up the box for the trailer tongue
    4. Paint the diamond plate on the front of the trailer to match the fenders
    5. Paint all of the exposed steel on the underside of the trailer to prep for floor installation
If I can do all that on sunday I will be a happy camper and I'll probably make an update video. It's going to look great with the front diamond plate matching the fenders.

Serious question, should I make my own thread for this? I didn't originally plan to post all of this here but you all are super friendly and I like hearing everyone's thoughts.

You're doing enough impressive work that you should have a devoted thread. Just my .02 cents with is worth about as much as a bent shit-can... BUT, I'm enjoying the build.

So I’ve decided to put the trailer up for sale. I have anoher dog now and practicing to have another kid. Things will be a little cramped with all of us in here. It’s perfect for a couple, maybe a kid, and a dog or 2 at the most.

Here is all the stuff done to the trailer

    Windows
    Tongue storage box
    Deep cycle Battery
    2 renogy 100w Solar panels
    30 amp Solar charger controller
    Insulation
New 6 lug axle w/ Electric brakes
    Trailer brakeaway kit
    Trailer brakeaway battery charger
    Jeep YJ 4” leaf springs
WFO Concepts leaf spring hardware, shackles, and axle perches
    E track for bed platform
    Custom memory foam mattress
    (2) 17” pro comp steel wheels
    (2) 35” Good year MT/R tires
    6’ Tepui Awning
    Max coupler hitch
    Weld on swivel tongue jack
    12v Roof vent fan
    Interior LED lights
    Fenders

I’ve put a decent amount of time into this trailer. It works great and I am reluctant to sell but know that we’re not gonna be able to use it much longer. I’d love to sell it to someone who wants a trailer that is ready to go.

The trailer is the perfect size to be able to comfortably sleep in but also small enough to where you can go further away from the beaten bath and get away from campgrounds.

I’m looking to get $7500 but I’m open to offers. If you’re interested. You can message me here or call or text me at 310-741-2871

I’m located in Lomita CA 90717

If you get a chop saw, buy a dry cut saw. Those huge 14” cutoff wheels don’t cut straight and they wear out super fast. Dry cut blades are expensive but they last a long time. It’s great for tubing! Or get yourself a horizontal band saw

Cutting wheel sucks unless it’s for small stuff. And the plasma cutter is great for getting crap
off quickly but you gotta have a steady hand to get nice straight lines.

Yeah the plasma is great for plate or sheet metal. I use mine for CMC’s and it makes it way quicker!

Here is the dry cut saw that I have. It spins at about 1/3 of the RPM that an abrasive chop saw that you’re referring to spins at. It’s also called a Mult Cutter saw I guess

My 2 cents on the saw conversation: I used an abrasive chop saw to cut the tubing for my trailer. I actually decided to scrap the first tongue box I started because the mitered 45 degree corners would come out really bad and uneven. If you cut at 90 degrees only, it's not so bad. I wish I had a dry cut saw

Yup. Got another dog and trying for another kid. Just gonna be too small for our needs. Decided I want something a little bigger and something that will be able to sustain us for longer trips. It’ll make it so much easier with kids!

    I appreciate it man!
