Oh I get it, they saw an opportunity and jumped on it. Every business has to make a profit or they don’t stay in business long.

 

Problem was..it was a "pre-order" all the meanwhile the same grills are flooding out of China at a much lower price
It's their business practice and can do what they want. I'm just here for the free popcorn.

 

I am not agreeing with what they did, I am just saying that if they didn't do it someone else would have. It's not that they are selling the grilles for the price they are, it's the fact that they lied and said there better quality when there not. They also keep saying they are doing legwork and customer service blah blah blah, too many members on here would disagree with that. Trump was supposed to make it harder for companies to outsource labor, I guess @CaliRaisedLed isnt the only one who lied.

 

When I was talking to them about lights in the spring they were great, answered any questions, and said I could come by and pick up the products in person while I was on holiday in California.

 

Whelp no tracking notification nor an email or call. "Sigh"

 

At this point, you might be better off getting your money back and just get one off fleabay (aka chinaraisedled @mesojdm ? ). probably get it faster.

I agree with the business strategy to obtain goods (sometimes from a foreign manufacturer), add markup and sell. Unless you are a direct manufacturer and move a product through to retail sales, everyone essentially does this. However, I also agree that statements from this vendor are misleading in that they claim this is their own design and somehow different that the competition. Consumers are always free to try to cut out the middle man and buy direct, sometimes with good or bad results. I was an early adopter and have no regrets, I got what I paid for. Had I waited, I might have gotten a better deal, but that is always a risk and CaliRaised promised no price match from the get go. No excuse for poor customer service though. That will kill any business in my experience.

Got a Facebook message awhile ago that said no shipment yet but as soon as it arrived I would be taken care of. We shall see!!

 

Why do you still even want it? I would get a refund and pay 140 less for the same thing on eBay. You'll get the same if not better customer service and save a lot of money.

 

Na I got the grille already it's just got black letters instead of the silver it's supposed to. That's what I'm waiting on.

 

Oh I misunderstood, I thought you didn't have anything and were trying to switch to a different grille after seeing they were shipping black ones.

 

Seems to me they're playing fuck fuck games with you

 

Lil bit. PayPal claim is in so it'll get resolved one way or another. They facebooked me yesterday that as soon as they came in they would send it out so we shall see.
