Hmm missing a few things

 

I drove an old rickety backhoe and dug out some stumps today.

 

Anybody know of any good trails and camping spots to Overland in and around raleigh? Came from the western part of the state, which was full of them but cant find any here. Any trails or spots you know of lets here em!

 

Nothing legal except URE and some beach driving. Best overlanding is to be had up in the mountains.

 

Know of any good camping spots around here?

 

It's all going to be "stealth," i.e. powerline trails, on private property, etc that can get you for trespassing. There is plenty of camping spots at Falls lake, Jordan lake and the like depending on where you are, but we don't really have any trails except URE. Also down at the beach you can go to Croatan Natl forest it's located just down the road from Morhead City and the Big bridge going over to emerald Isle. But that is more mud bogging etc. Also going in there this time of yr. it is a game land so there are hunters galore.

 

Where’s the best places in the mountains?

 

Plenty of state parks around here. I've been to Falls Lake and Umstead.

 

Hurricane Creek/Pilgrims trail would probably be the best. There is another place but the locals got pissy and the Sheriffs office has been out there, idk their stance on it.
