Curious as well. The dealer had mine for a few days on unrelated stuff, and the same year loaner tacoma transmission was night and day different than mine.

I decided to go extra fancy and use zip ties to the Pro grille. Sits flush to it and it does not move. I know some folks may look down on using zip ties but it really does not look at all. For the connectors, I just used basic wire connectors with heat shrink casings.

Great! thank you for the response. So the fuse you tapped into, is it an extra on that isnt currently used? I know you said you used the 3rd from the top on the right side, i just wasnt sure if that is an extra, or if it is used from the factory and you were adding onto it

    I don’t think it’s tied to anything.

I added a powder coated black mesh grille to continue along with my murdered out look. The TRD pro grilles look sweet & I might order 1 after a while with this. I’m debating on ordering badging or lettering to add to the grille, but will rock it like this for now:

Where did you get that mesh grille? I really like it, it's exactly what I've been looking for.

Hammer & sickle on your Taco, really?
Personally I find it offensive that you would choose to display something like that over, oh I don't know maybe an American flag.
But I guess that is all part of what so many have paid the ultimate sacrifice for, freedom of expression among other things.
Didn't mean to stir the pot but I find this repulsive!:oldglory:
In the spirit of the season I won't say where I think you should put it.

Sorry folks, just couldn't let this pass without commenting.

SSO hybrid bumper, Warn winch, RCI skid trilogy, RRW sliders, everything in the cheap/free mods thread, and of course the frame recall work.
Still rev 1 but it fixed mine real good.

Yes stock suspension, at least for a while. I haven't tried to see if it rubs other than going in circles on flat ground yet. They're mostly to keep me from getting stuck at the boat ramp.
I can tell you this, they definitely have less traction on dry pavement than the stock toyos that came on the sport. I spin the rear tire about half the time I start off.

Nothing wrong with zip ties. Especially all cold weather UV stable ones. Hell if it worked I’d build my house from LEGOs zip ties and duct tape!
