You check ground? I had a issue with corrosion when I bought it. Think I hammered the whole thing with dielectric grease after scraping the terminals. My issue was with the brake light though.

If you have power on the ground side of the circuit it's not grounded. If it's not grounded... It's not dead. Let me know when you want to wrench and I'll get out there and give you a hand. :rimshot:

    Secretly Long Travel & Supercharged
Last Sunday I was in a friends GMC that rolled off the trail leading out of jeep Hill in HJ, and while no one was hurt during the crash or the recovery of the vehicle, there were many lessons learned and great experiences with some GREAT people.
Big thanks to Joey Sotomayor (Tatonka) and the rest of his crew!

Right at the narrow part before the plateau, being a larger full size and the rain rut cutting deeper, the front passenger wheel fell into the rut when some dirt gave way.
The truck proceeded to flip straight over and roll 3-4 times before snagging on the old (Chevy?) carcass that’s been down there forever, finally coming to a stop ~40ft down from the trail.

Crawling out through the rear driver side window, we got a ride down to the main road from a jeep who happened to be just in front of us. Everyone was a little sore but OK.
    EC607A46-3AFB-4FD1-9C46-129D111C6632.jpg
Wednesday night at 11pm-4:30am a group of us guys including Joey and his guys set to work evaluating how to recover it, eventually deciding to just try and tug it straight down with probably close to 200ft of rope. Spotters all around watching the truck and myself and another guy with fire extinguishers above the truck to watch for sparks.
The GMC and old carcass slid about 15 together before they separated, allowing the GMC to slid about 20ft further and due to the 50 degree+ incline and walls of the ravine, the truck righted itself and slid FAST down the Hill another 50ft or so.

From there onward it was straight forward, just dragging it down carefully, making sure it didn’t start to roll or go off trail.
4:30am we had it on the flat road and “looted” all the mods and other in cab valuables the owner wanted.
By 5:30 the tow truck was driving off with it off to Coparts!

Notice the engine slammed up against the firewall... but that 5.3 flex fuel started!

Again big thanks to Tonka and everyone who was out there, this whole thing has been an experience I won’t forget for sure.
