I bought my wife some of the new 3rd gen seat covers from Bartact. They look amazing with the khai panels that go with her quicksand taco. There is a problem though; her truck has the technology package and I can't figure out if I can make these work with the heated seats. There is a panel on the back of the seat that is carpeted, that the wires run behind. I can't see any way to attach the seat back cover over this and attach the Velcro at the bottom. I was just hoping that someone in here had solved this issue with Bartact covers or even another brand. I didn't turn up anything when I searched though. Thanks for any help or advice.

I have the Clazzio Seat covers on my Sport with Technology package and the seats still heat up. Takes a little longer then without the covers and it isnt as warm, but still works.

Can you remove the OE seat covers and replace them with the new ones?

Maybe but I believe the seat heaters are built into the factory covers. I was hoping someone had modded a set, not likely as they are brand new or had found some that would work with the factory covers.

Are the clazzio covers a one piece design?

I recently (1 month ago) installed some wet okole seat covers in my taco. The factory carpeted piece is held on by two bungee cord clips underneath the seat. VERY difficult to see what you're doing under there, but if you feel around you can find the clips. Unclip them and the whole thing can flip up. This was required to install my seat covers. I used to run my heated seats on the second highest setting. I now have to run them on the highest setting for the same results. It takes a little longer to heat up, but they still work through about 1" of neoprene.

I would recommend getting a helper with small hands. It probably saved me at least a couple hours and some smashed fingers. Good luck.

I will probably pull the seats out of the truck to make my life easier.

I've got Wet Oakley's over mine. The heaters work fine.

Florida temps are a bit warmer than what we get in the PNW. That being said, once my heaters get up to temp I do turn them down. I was just trying to point out that they take just a little bit to heat their way through the Wet Okole covers.

Sounds like you have COVERS and are removing the factory covers? Are you sure your covers aren't supposed to go OVER the existing covers like Clazzios? If I missed something, I apologize.

I have a full Katzkin kit in my truck. They removed the old covers and added the new Katzkin covers without any issue.

Heaters are FAST and get hot quick.

Not removing the factory covers. The Bartacts are meant to go over the factory covers.
