How about a 959 cubic inch race motor that over 15 litres with 5 kits of nitrous . I've heard of a few 959 monsters making over 3k hp on 3 kits Can only imagine how much hp it'll make on 5 kits

Also can he get it to hook up as he had issues with his little 728 motor

This is our coldest part of the year so, while it is in the 30's in the mornings, it is what I've seen since we moved here. Afternoon's are anywhere between 40's and 70's depending on cloud cover and wind. I've still yet to wear a jacket though I do wear my vest. "Winter" here only lasts a few weeks.

If your ever in that neck of the woods Doug, it's worth the stop. Missus wanted to make pulled pork and the recipe called for a "Boston Butt". Supermarkets around me didn't have it, Shady Maple had it and the counter guy even went into the refridge and brought us out a fresh piece. It was delicious. Because it was only dry rubbed, after it was done you could add whatever BBQ sauce or mix to your taste. I hope the missus gets the pulled pork bug again

That whole area has really been growing Mike. But it is still a nice place to visit and ride around. A lot of Amish have been moving out of the area because of taxes being raised so high forcing them out. Shame it's happening.

Here's a nasty Nitrous Backfire from a couple years ago at LVMS during a PSCA Event . a Solenoid malfunctioned while he was purging his nitrous into the engine

That’s a good choice.
I would want some base runs with what you have now with some data to see how that would change.

 

Better make sure you have the internals to handle it first as well.

My 421sbc build got put on hold until next Fall

 

There's a lot of thinking and planning put into the lower end of the engine in the car. Mine is detuned for pump gas because unless it's hitting the strip there's no need for it be tuned for race gas yet it's built heavy enough to handle higher boost just in case.

An engine builder local to me said he can build me one that'll make 795hp at the crank

Then add a pro charger and should be making near 1500hp
