The wife and I use the crockpot quite a bit. I’m hoping to share more with everyone!

I guess its hit or miss with the mule deer but some seem to like it. We had some a friend gave us and it was pretty rank/gamey. All the deer I shot only one doe was inedible. couple bucks were chili worthy but not inedible.

It's way harder to get the hair off than a duck. That's my main gripe.
Pretty lean too, not tender at all.

Bravo to you good Sir!! Cooked this tonight and turned out awesome!

Followed your directions, but added (1) medium sized sweet onion and (2) Red Bell Peppers sliced length wise. Toasting the roll with Provolone cheese put it on another level.

    Thank you for sharing!

That’s awesome! I bet the sweetness from the red pepper was incredible!

Added red onion or subbed it for something?

No Subs, it was a Sweet Onion. Just had them sitting around and thought what the hell, let's throw them in there.. LOL!

Red pepper just added more Color to the mix, so you got the beef, the green of the Pepperoncinis and gardenia mix, and the red of the pepper.
