It's almost 10PM and my neighbors are throwing a party... all I hear is lots of yelling in Spanish.

Wow, FedEx must be slammed this week- they've put my tire on a truck twice and failed to deliver both times.:bananadead:

I ended up having to go to a local place to get comparable tires because Mike is picking up the scooter tomorrow.

This is gonna be one fun rodeo returning both tires to Amazon. Someone is going to get an earful if they dare do anything other than print me up a prepaid return label and issue a full refund.

Don't get me started... when the 'zon has their shit together it works great, like getting a router same-day when I moved in to my new place. When they screw up though, it's an industrial-grade fuckup.

Like the time I rented a college textbook through them, and received it damaged. Class was starting and I needed it, and the book was still readable, so I got one of the representatives to put a note on my file that the spine had been crushed in-transit and not to charge me a fee upon return.

Come time to return it, I get a nastygram "hey asshole" email that says I'm liable for the damage and they've auto-charged me the full amount of the book ($300+) and they're going to send it back to me.
Oh boy was I livid. I called them and explained that I explicitly had this discussion as soon as the book had arrived and I had email confirmation proof. Thankfully they reversed the charge.

And then, a few days later I get a completely different textbook (about elementary school teaching) that had its spine crushed and was indicated that it was "returned to the customer who ruined it.":rofl:
I just put it aside, not my problem to sort their idiocy out.

Well then tomorrow night while I'm hitting all the rooftop bars in Bogota, I'll leave obnoxious country playing as loud as I can until 1AM.

Any of you have suggestions how to thoroughly clean out a dirt bike gas tank?
Got an old xr400r sitting for a while and the tanks got some grime in it.
Would running a hose through it and letting it sit for a couple days fuck it up?

    Nooooooo don't do that!!!

Go to tractor supply or home depot and grab a heaping handful of their cheapest small nuts (tractor supply sells them by weight) extra points if they are in a metric size you can use later.
Go to a grocery store and get some white vinegar.

Take the tank off, and throw the nuts in there, followed by some of the vinegar. Shake the shit out of it, roll it all around, then dump out the vinegar (but not the nuts) and get fresh vinegar in there and shake again. Rinse and repeat a few times. The nuts bumping all around (oh god the out of context quotes) will clean and scrub the tank out really nicely.

If it's really stubborn gunk let the vinegar sit for a little bit before you really go ham on the shaking part.

Oh and make sure you get all the nuts back out once you are done.
