Oh I’d build the fucker myself minus machine work.
Did all machine work years ago. cc heads, balance rotating mass etc.
Just no access to the machines now.

That's what I did. I farmed out all the machining and balancing as you stated and then me and a buddy built it here

Did someone say Boston Butt and pulled pork?! New Years day last year. Pan 1 of 2. Need to do a few more freezer doesn't have anymore.

    NewYearsPork.jpg

I had no idea that they sold it outside of Lancaster County now. Think milk straight out of the bulk tank. And you didn't turn on the agitator first to mix it. In the morning Mom would open the fridge and it would have separated and she would be pissed at me. Dad would just give me a shit eating grin and when Mom wasn't looking a nod of his head. Not sure it is still that good and don't need to be eating it. But I am going In Search Of Turkey Hill ice cream soon.

Had a ribeye thawing since last night in the fridge as long as I was grilling asked my son if he wanted anything off the grill. He said some chicken strips so he could make a wrap would be nice. WTH figured take advantage of the weather before the cold front hits.

    23 air temp.jpg

Thawed some skinless boneless chicken breast for him and marinated it in some Italian dressing. Then threw it on the grill grates as I did my steak.

    Chicken Finish GrillGrates.jpg

Both were awesome he actually sat down at the dinner table with me to eat. Been a long time since that has happened.

I couldn't eat it all but really needed the greens. Sometimes you have to eat what food eats too but have plenty of left overs for tomorrow.

    Plated.jpg

Request from both of my sons on Christmas is now spicy chicken. So got the smoker ready. Not going to be as cold as they said now in the single digits above zero. Have the smoker ready to go.

    Smoker Ready.jpg

I think another hour at the most going to call it quits for the night on work, been busy this evening cooking anyhow. Took me a long time but finally figured it out. I want to work to live not live to work.

This motor will cost me $11k

Put a blower on it and you won’t need the hood either.

    Lol.

My current 350sbc is a 1/4 fill block (Moroso hard block ceramic filler) filled into the block just below the freeze plugs and it runs at 195° in the summer and 175° in winter

When you add a power adder like a SC or turbo they create quite a bit more heat and allowances need to be made. I already had a large Griffin radiator in it and it just wasn't enough. I ended up having to have one made 3" thick with dual 1 1/2" tubes to cool it

When you add squeeze all bets are off.
It’s a whole different road to drive.

My son mentioned to me yesterday that the fridge was empty and the freezers were almost empty too. I checked and sure enough he was right. Sometimes when work hits the ceiling I forget about simple things in life. Like eating. LOL doesn't hurt for me to miss a few meals. But needed to put food on the table for him.

No shit - I'm dyin' here.

It'll take 1.5hrs to copy "Fantastic Mr. Fox" from my home system to here. What I really wanted to watch was "Curse of the Were Rabbit", but I think I only have that on DVD.
