That's part for the course this time of year. Last year they bermed the road off.

Sounds like I should do a little bit of scouting tomorrow! North Fork road as far as I could go was my other thought.

I don't think you'll find snow up there. Ice most likely, lots of areas out there that don't see the sunshine. You'd probably be ok up tinkham if you change your tires this time. :boink:

I'm definitely changing my tires tonight! I'm glad you still have that pic. That's the last time I went snow wheeling, spent time licking my wounds afterwards.

@Haslefre - found a pic of the truck after the wheel fell off. Entertaining watching me run down the hill after a tire.

Powdercoat, after spending the better part of a month trying to do mine right with coats of primer and bedliner only to have a few spots dinged up already I wouldn't think twice about paying someone next time, not even close to worth the effort and in the end I probably spent almost as much on paint as I would've paid for PC. There was a point halfway through that I debated just taking them in for someone else to finish.

    All in good fun, sir!

But just watch. Never had a power steering pump go out on me, so I'd consider this a proper jinxing. I should probably just buy one now.

PC, while not indestructible, has held up better overall than parts I've had painted. Bumpers and sliders are all PC; rear looks great, front has some rock chips (down to the primer coat) here and there, and the sliders have taken a real beating. The tops look great, though.

This is what I came upon about a year ago just after the end of the pavement at exit 42, beginning of tinkahm road off i90. Guy had got fucked off trying to leave. He was fully locked up on maybe 35s and a $30k+ Lexus. He fucked a lot of shit up for such a minor obstacle.

I stumbled into some quicksand in a cave once. Looked like smooth sand under about a foot of water. I was quicker than the quicksand, I turned around and got out.

Guy needs to join tacomaworld and gain some knowledge about dealing with shitty dealers and escalating these things to corporate. They should be compensating him with a brand new truck any option he wants and free platinum warranty extension for 200k miles.

This isn't the first time I've heard bad news from them. My buddy went through 2 rear axle housings and 4 diffs on his 2012 rock warrior tundra in under 30k miles. They had his truck for 6 months at one point, and he finally got tired of the bullshit and got the manager to agree to him selling the truck back to them. Can't remember all the details but he took it and ran to the Dodge dealer down the street and got a 2004.5 2500 5.9ho Cummins with money left over.

Cooper/mastercraft atxs. No punctures or anything, good tread even. Just kaboom on i90 in the carpool construction zone.
