Yeah Ive done that. More of a PITA when you have a sunroof. Agree to apply sound material while it's down. Helps with that tin roof sound when it rains.

 

Exactly why I went through the trouble. Haha.

 

Sweet! Did my doors when I did speakers, some day will do floors and roof. Doors have a nice solid thud when I close em.

 

I tried to sell my wife on one like in the second pic. Told her we could put it out in the woods on the farm. She wouldn't go for it. Said we'd outgrow it as soon as we had kids (true). I did eventually get a 12x16' barn with a 12x6' loft from Home Depot. It's a great little shop. I'm thinking of adding a second 12x6' loft on the other end.

 

I have a oe aftermarket leaf pack with add a leaf and 1” block! I am going to do a u bolt flip and shock relocate on top of the axle. I will also buy some new leaf Asap! Then I hope the droop will be better I only have like 2 inches of freaking travel! I explained to wheelers what I had and my plans and it is incorrect with my current setup. I am going to try the shock relocate of that doesn't help I will have to get longer shafts put in!

 

I did a little inside the doors (about 3 sq ft per door) and a little on the rear wall. Definitely put more in the ceiling though.

It's an off brand that my dad had left over from our old Ford ("GT Mat"?) so hopefully it doesn't all fall out. I sprayed the ends of the patches with loctite spray adhesive to help a little.

 

Yea same, used Noico..kinda the same shit.

 

He had like 25 sq ft leftover, so it was one of those times where I was like "well I ain't about being wasteful..."

 

So they are liveable? How much were they when you looked (just like the second one)

 

Bare bones. No insulation, wiring, dry wall, ceiling. Basic floor unless you pay for better subfloor. That one was $10-12k a decade ago. All the lumber is pretty cheap stuff. Decking is cheap too. Lots of particle board. With some work you’d have a nice hunting shack, but prob not up to city code for a home.

 

@GreeGunc i just order a u bolt flip kit and shock relocator kit from wheelers! I hope this will give me more travel and fix my rear king problems! They are to short for my application if they don’t I will sell them and order new ones. They told me they were only good for 0-1.5” of lift in back. When I Order them they said they would work for my truck after explaining all that I had done to my rear end. Oh well.....

 

Wha? They were sure happy to sell em to me with the LT kit I ordered for my 16.

 

So be better to get a double wide used for the money? Fuck the city I damn sure am not moving to any city limits.

Yeah I know the ups guy for my area it helps. I called him and met him the morning after arrival!!! Call them and go pick it up that’s bs!!

 

I wish. Been trying to get them to hold it at forest park for 4 days.

 

If it were me I would be at that door waiting and request them they will give it to yah! Before I knew my ups man I did it several times!
