That looks better but it’s pretty fkn close to Magnetic Grey. I’ll meet you halfway and say maybe a shade lighter.

I’d settle with Magnetic Grey without the metallic. Regardless, I’m happy to see Toyota actually coming out with flat color paints. I love my truck, but I’m over metallic finishes.

Yeah you might be onto something. That might be primarily why I love the cement so much: the non metallic finish. But, only a shade darker I would say from cement. Ironically, got my countertops done a couple years ago (quartz from Cesarstone) and we settled on... Cement.

Quite simply, it’s a badass color.

Go look for yourself. My inferno looks flat in certain light and angles too.

Sorry. I don’t doubt you. Just surprised no one has mentioned it. I wouldn’t want it if it has metallic in it. Might as well be Silver Sky.

Cement has pearlization over the base grey color. No metallic in it, but pearlized over it. Just like the pearl white color on many limited 4runners.

That’s on the TRD Pro’s. From the looks of the 2018’s offered in Cement, they have put metallic in it. I guess to keep it different from the TRD Pro’s!?!?!?

It’s the same. The exact color was on the scion tc’s too several years ago. The first time I saw it I remarked that they should put it on the Tacoma’s........fast forward a few years and here it is.

Lol. Yep. Check out my profile.
The OEM rack is NOT cool.

    It IS, however, Dad approved...

    Yeah.
I have one on order. I have a functional reason for having one, though, and it has come in handy for hauling extra mountain bikes.

I have a RTT, and I built my bed rack somewhat short to trap action packers in the bed when I am not around, as well as better aerodynamics. The problem is that you can't get the rods for the awning inserted on the cab side of the tent, so I need something to attach bungee cords to. OEM rack is perfect for that, and has other uses at times. Not especially thrilled with the look, but you get used to it.

I didn't buy the truck to be cool, but even with the rack it raises this dad's coolness level. I know, that's not really hard.

I'd trade my cement PRO in a heartbeat for the dark gray.
