You'd likely know this. My brother has arranged for me to grab a signed jersey from a Calgary player. I have to grab it from him after their practice today - at the Saddledome. I've scoped out the place on Google Earth, as I've only been there a couple times (a number of years ago).
Is the player's parking lot on the South East edge of the building?

 

Yessir I believe so. The North lots are for season ticket holders and the far South lots are for peasants like us.

 

Bozak is an underrated player. He's good at the dot both in the offensive and defensive zones, he can score 20 goals for your team, and he can setup wingers like there is no tomorrow. His biggest weakness is that he's only okay defensively after the faceoff. I wouldn't say he gets lost or anything like that, but he just isn't a gritty or skilled enough player to help get the puck out of the zone efficiently.

Yes, he's basically Kessels best friend. They even lived together for a bit in Toronto. I think he would motivate Kessel in the short term.

Toronto basically has an extra center at this point and needs to free up 2-3 roster spots in the next year or so for kids on the AHL squad who are ready for the majors (Kapi, Leivo, and Sosh). It's pretty much a given that they are at best mildly interested in resigning JVR and Bozak. Both of those players will likely be used to acquire either picks or defense in the next couple of months.

 

Cool, ya I didn't know Torontos center situation, so that makes sense. Some stuff there I didn't know, so thanks. I did know that he was pretty close with Phil, which is a plus. I guess the reason I said he wasn't my first choice was like you said, defensive play. I think they Pens right now are so loose with the puck, just trying to sling it all over the ice and teams are making them pay. Not saying he would do that but a guy like J Staal seems to add the depth, some offense and is 'tough to play against'. I was hoping for that last attribute in the guy we bring in, but that is just me. I think Bozak could work, but I have a soft spot for guys like Staal and see that as a need on the Pens. Even when Sutter was here, he played that way and I loved it (granted he is a bit on the small side). Bonino too, but he did go really cold in spurts, on the score sheet. Hate to see Cole go (and likely a decent winger) but can't trade our bad guys for someone else's good guys lol.
