Day off today.
Planning on hunting a bit this morning and taking my ladder stand out of the watershed later before the weather comes in.

 

Called the archery shop yesterday.
My string was on the stretcher. I could pick it up today but my presents is needed at work. With the bad storms coming it will be on hold for another weeek. That’s ok...
Ladder stands are great once they are up but boy they are a pain to move.....

Mine's not too bad if I had to do it myself. Bare bones model with no rails to get in the way.
I keep forgetting I don't have to get in there crazy early like a month or 2 ago, as sunrise isn't for another 2 hours.
Takes all of 10 minutes to drive to the Water Co. and another 10 minutes to walk in.

 

My boy carries his tree stand in and even though it’s a back pack portable one it’s heavy.
He’s a big boy and his friend is bigger.
I couldn’t haul that around...

 

I have a Summit climber that is the lightweight model.
It was pretty light pack in and was comfortable to sit in.
Still have it, but I think my climber day are over. Getting too old for that shit.

 

Yea I decided I’m not going to even try. I can do it. But no point..

This week was "life of the elderly". Tuesday was my day to go to the doctor. Yesterday I took dad to the doctor. This morning I'm taking mom to the eye doctor...

But first, clean up, and get some Lone Ranger time in...

Off today trying to get over sinus infection. Sleep is all jacked up on steroids.

 

Take care. Sinus infections are one giant headache. I know this is old school but I've found placing my head with a towel over a steaming bowl of water helps thin the mucus. Same with letting the hot water in the shower run over my face/head.

Aren't steroids fun?!

 

Yea that all broke out first day for the most part thanks. It was especially difficult yesterday driving home. Lately there’s been a lot of wrecks around town . Idiots are out in full swing. Thought my face was going to explode yesterday coming home

 

I do nasal drops and sinus spray to irrigate all the crap out
