leaking at the cup will not make you lose fuel pressure it could cause a vacuum leak. If you were leaking at the top of the injector it could cause pressure to drop. Do you have an upgraded fuel pump?

Yes the pump is upgraded and I think I have those two issues at the same time vacuum leak at the cups but it could be the insulators and fuel pressure drop at the top. I can’t think of another reason.

Is it leaking fuel from the top of the injectors?

I just wonder if the insulators and o-rings are compatible with e85

I think you looking in the wrong area, I would check your fuel pump or your FPR. You could at idle give the FPR a little boost with some compressed air to see if the fuel pressure rises.

I am curious if him blipping the throttle makes the engine pull more vacuum than at idle, since there isn't any load on the engine? Were that to be true, then the increased vacuum would reduce the fuel pressure as seen by the gauge. I will double check on mine in a bit.

It does the same thing when driving. I'm going to replace the o-rings and insulators just because when I do boost/vac leak check and put 10 psi of air it leaks down in about 5 sec. I spray soapy water all around everything and you can see the bubbles and hear the leak from the injector cups. I think its the insulators but this problem was gradual after the injectors where installed. I guess it could be the FPR its not the original I just recently got it from Advanced Auto Parts. Would the e 85 mess up the FPR or insulators:notsure:

I'm starting to wonder if the e85 has been eating away at the FPR :notsure: and the injector insulators

Do you have a fuel pressure gauge in the cab as well?

E85 does require seals and hoses to be of a specific formula so as not to be damaged. This is why products are labeled as ethanol rated. That is a possibility.

I'll say this though. Every time you mess with E85 or something else other than gasoline, you run into issues. Easy where to point a finger.

No gauge inside but yea I'm thinking to go back to 93 and replace the above things and see what happens.

I just put an ecu on my 3.0 d4d turbo diesel.
It installs on the fuel rail.. there is a definate difference with it.. the low end is much better acceleration is better plus smoother and more power. Well worth the money.

I bought it on ebay... the website is http://the-black-one.com

    It is a good start.

Blipping the throttle without load does increase the vacuum. Inturn reducing vac/boost referenced fuel pressure.

Even without a gauge in the truck, I can promise the fuel pressure isn't doing the exact same as in your video. Your multiple vacuum leaks are what are making your AFR's and operation unsteady.
